The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf’s Attack
Once upon a time, there was a young shepherd boy who lived in a village. Every day, he would take his flock of sheep to graze in the jungle outside the village. One day, the shepherd boy was feeling bored and decided to play a trick on the villagers.
He started shouting, “Wolf! Wolf! Help me! A wolf is attacking my sheep!” The villagers heard his cries and rushed to the spot to help. However, when they got there, they found no wolf. The boy had played a prank on them. He laughed out loud and told them that they had been fooled.
The next day, the boy played the same trick on the villagers, and they came running again. Once again, he told them that they had been made a fool. This time, the villagers were angry and scolded the boy for wasting their time and energy.
After a few days, a wolf really appeared and attacked the flock of sheep. The shepherd boy shouted for help, but the villagers thought he was playing a prank again. No one came to help him, and the wolf killed a couple of sheep.
The shepherd boy was dejected and realized the gravity of his mistakes.
