Crow-and-Fox Story Writing
Write a story from the outlines given below. Add a suitable title and give a moral.
Hints: A crow — finds meat —- flies to a tree —- a clever fox says to crow to sing —– crow sings —– meat falls —- fox takes —- crow sad —– flies away.
The Clever Fox
Once a crow found a piece of meat. It then flew to a branch of a tree to eat the meat. At that time, a clever hungry fox was passing under the tree. It saw the meat in the crow’s beak. It wished to eat the meat anyway. Quickly the fox made a plan. The clever fox said to the crow, “O! Beautiful bird. I heard that you have a sweet voice. Please sing a song for me.” These words made the crow very happy. Then when it opened its beak to sing, the piece of meat fell down on the ground. The fox took it and went away merrily. The crow was sad for its foolishness.
Moral: Don’t trust flatterers.
