Sir,
I shall be grateful to you if you give me a little space in your esteemed daily so that I can express my opinion to draw the attention of the concerned authority about the bad condition of roads in our locality.
A government should provide basic facilities like good, clean roads and a safe environment for the citizens. In our locality the roads have not been repaired for the past 3 years. There are pitfall and breakages which cause accidents. The repair work done by government agencies is shoddy and does not last for more than a few months. The situation is aggravated in monsoons when many people get injured and have accidents due to the worn out roads.
I, therefore, would like to request the authority to take necessary steps as early as possible to solve this problem.
